UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE  7 APRIL 2018 - ON THIS WORLD HEALTH DAY THEME OF UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE, LET'S JOIN HANDS TO PROVIDE HEALTH TO EVERYONE AND EVERYWHERE . WE ALL HAVE RIGHT TO HEALTH AND HEALTHCARE AND WE SHOULD MAKE EVERYONE AWARE OF IT.  FOR ME, AS A DOCTOR, UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE INCLUDES THE FOUR SPHERES OF HEALTH : PHYSICAL , MENTAL , EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL INCLUDING DIET, EXERCISE AND SLEEP.  THE AIM OF MEDICINE IS JUST SYMPTOMATIC RELIEF WHEREAS OUR AIM SHOULD BE PREVENTION OF SUCH DISEASES AND AILMENTS THAT REQUIRE MEDICINE !! THE FIRST AND THE MAIN COMPONENT TOWARDS HEALTH IS HANDWASHING WHICH IS NOT JUST MERELY RUBBING HANDS WITH SOAP AND WATER BUT ALSO FOLLOWING THE BASIC 6 STEPS. HAND WASHING IS NOT SIMPLY AN ACT BUT IS AN ART. THIS WORLD HEALTH DAY EMPHASIZES THE ART OF HAND WASHING, BREAST FEEDING, NEED FOR VACCINATIONS, CONDOM DISTRIBUTION FOR REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, SUICIDE PREVENTION FOR MENTAL HEALTH, RISING PROBLEM...

BALANCED LIFESTYLE EVERYONE KNOWS THIS BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE....RIGHT?   BUT LEMME PUT SOME LIGHT ON THE "BALANCE" THAT YOU REQUIRE IN YOUR CURRENT LIFE WHICH YOU ARE NOT LIVING IN THE STYLE THAT IS MEANT FOR IT. THE BALANCE IS BASICALLY ABOUT 4 DOMAINS : PHYSICAL  {DIET, EXERCISE AND SLEEP} MENTAL EMOTIONAL  SPIRITUAL  THERE IS A KEY TO OPEN EVERY DOOR- PHYSICAL HEALTH IS ESSENTIALLY YOUR DIET , EXERCISE ROUTINE AND SLEEP !! HAND HYGIENE WHAT ! HAND HYGIENE-HUH!! WHAT'S NEW ABOUT THAT ? IT IS THE MOST IGNORED PART OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE NOWADAYS!  BUT  BELIEVE ME- THE MOST COMMON AND MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO PREVENT AROUND 95% OF THE HEALTH RELATED AILMENTS IS THE SIMPLE ACT OF HAND WASHING . IT IS BOTH ABOUT THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF TIME DEVOTED TO THIS SIMPLE ACT. HAND WASHING IS AN ART WHICH EVERYONE MUST KNOW AND SHOULD PRACTICE IN ONE'S DAILY ROUTINE. WE ALL KNOW WHEN TO WASH HANDS ; BUT ONLY A FEW OF US KNOW ABOUT 'HOW' TO DO IT .
