FROM MONDAY BLUES TO MONSLAY

We all experience Monday blues ๐Ÿ‘พ (feeling extreme stress/anxiety or sadness on the first day of the week) at some point or other in our lives. It can make us lack the passion and motivation to go to work on on a Monday morning. It can signal BURNOUT in some people too.

WHY DO YOU HAVE MONDAY BLUES ?

1. You are not satisfied with the kind of job that you are doing.

2. You are not happy with your work colleagues or work environment.

3. You feel that your life is very mundane. There is no pleasure in your day-to-day tasks and everything seems very mechanical. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

4. Your job is interfering in other pleasurable activities that you could engage in earlier, before joining the job you're currently in.

5. You are unable to give time to your relationship because of your work commitments.

6. You are suffering from a mental health issue. ๐Ÿ’ญ

WAY TO MONSLAY.......๐ŸŽข

1. Identify the underlying cause (your own inability to fulfil targets or a poor relationship, workplace, lack of motivation to go to work every day, etc).

2. Make your offs pleasurable by proper adequate planning. ๐Ÿ’

3. Dress well on Mondays- wear a new dress / try a new hairstyle / wear nice make-up etc. to give you a different kind of energy and positivity.

4. Consider your job as a job, and not your life๐Ÿ’บ

5. Go for a walk after work- A 20-minute walk with your family around can freshen you up and relax your mind before a good night's sleep. ๐Ÿƒ

6. Stop using negative statements for yourself- A common tendency among people is to use negative statements like "My life is useless", "My job is the worst job", etc. Try to change your statements. Try to keep calm and be positive that you at least have a job. You can seek comfort in the fact that there are some people at your workplace who acknowledge you and are fond of you. Also, going for small gossip sessions with your colleagues can be therapeutic from psychology point of view !!!!

7. Lifestyle changes - Eating properly, doing regular exercise and including some breathing exercises in your routine can do wonders for improving your mental health and reducing Monday blues. ✌

You can count on the things that you have instead of focusing on everything else that you don't. Count your blessings and be grateful to Almighty ๐Ÿ™

Be more organised and try to take proper sleep on Sundays.

You should compliment yourself that despite not being ready or in the mood of going to work, you still made it.

If you feel that your blues are becoming persistent, you are not able to function properly and feel more exhausted by each day, it is better to seek medical help.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS: It's not about the day, it's about YOU.  ๐Ÿ‘ˆ
